Hey, friends,I spent last night in the hospital and was diagnosed with a
TIA because my right fingers froze and I couldn't move them. My right side of my face was tight for w thile. I had an MRI and they said no damage but they found an infection which I am treating. They said there was no cause for it, and it can happen any time at any age. My neck arteries and heart are good. My blood bredduse and blood sugar returned to normal. I am very tired, however.

@dorisena I'm glad that there was no real problem. My daughter had a TIA a long time ago, when she was in her mid-20s (she's 38 now). She spent the night in the hospital and had many tests but everything was OK. She was in a line at lunchtime and started babbling so her friends brought her home. When one of her roommates got home she insisted she go to the hospital. That roommate's father was a doctor so she was pretty medically aware.

It ended up costing her a bundle, her insurance was not the greatest, but she was fine and has never had a problem since.
