@nannette1941 I'm really sorry to hear that, Nannette. I hope it's just an isolated day feeling that way. I think we all have had our days of depression during this pandemic, particularly us seniors because we have to be so careful. Try to remember, things are getting better each day and if enough people do get vaccinated we will reach "herd immunity" sometime during the summer probably and then most people will be free to expand their activities.

Do you have family and/or friends whom you are missing? I sure do. My son wants to visit but it requires a flight so I have told him he needs to hold off for a while longer since he could be carrying and shed the virus. Being on immunosuppressants I am still vulnerable despite having been vaccinated. I never thought I would miss grocery shopping, but I do! We are all in this together so just hang tight and we get through this together too. 🤗

Thank you for your words of encouragement. No, I have no family, came to the US from France. I have done my best to have friends, I have cooked great meals but it is not reciprocated because "I could not do this, I could not set the table the way you do..." Just cook a hamburger and that would do for I am not looking for a contest; I am looking for friends... I am simply tired, so very tired!

Hi, @nannette1941 and @contentandwell, What @johnbishop posted was all in fun, I so agree with JK that we've all struggled with some down days during this past year of pandemic. However, with more getting vaccinated and more sunshine and warmer days coming, I hope all will find more to smile about.

While my state is now wide open with masks no longer required, even after having both my Covid vaccines, I will continue to wearing mine and taking precautions. We are getting so much closer to more normal times that continuing to hang together just a bit longer can make a much happier difference in each of our lives.
