How are you doing, @wolfhound1966? Any side effects from the heavy dose radiation treatments?
Good luck with the port tomorrow.

Hanging in there just some hot spots.....pain subsiding enough that I am able to stop taking....it was making me sick to my stomach. Port in for two days now....next meeting is on May 4th.......the journey continues! Social distancing making this thing worse Haven’t hugged our kids or grands for quite some time!! Sucks!!

@wolfhound1966 I agree that the world without hugs is hard. I’m glad to hear that the pain is diminishing. Will you start chemo at the next appointment in May?

Starting Chemo on Monday the 11th....couple of hours with one batch then they insert another IV attached to a pump which I leave in for 46 hours then return and they will remove.......I will do this Twice a month for three months then a pet scan to see how it's working!! My new norm!

@wolfhound1966 Have you ever been someone to take and do written accounts of your life? It would be interesting to journal as you go through this chemo, and be able to look back at it later and what you went through. There may be some rough days ahead like there have already been in the past. But you have a good head on your shoulders, and you will prevail! Is there anyone nearby to help support you on this journey? I'm glad that with the appointment just this last Monday that they are starting the chemo so quickly, so you don't have to wait around.

I am looking forward to hearing from you in a couple of weeks, as you get into this new routine. I hope that you let us know how we may be able to support you!
