@alleycatkate Thank you for the link, this has been promoted to me by people who encourage alternative and complimentary medicine and I was never able to find a reasoned article to refer to – only the "gut feeling" that inhaling metal particles was risky business – especially since it is quite possible exposure to industrial pollutants over many year is part of the reason for my bronchiectasis.
