My grandson is 5. He does have celerbral palsy on right side.. Moving around very good, good memory, talking more and more when this arm spasms he is completely aware. He laughs and goes whoh! He has had 3. in three months. Just dont understand how this can be diagnosed with eeg or other tests He is scheduled for an eeg April 1. My daughter set this up before dr visit. They last about 20 seconds, and he goes on playing as usual. No loss of conscience, violet jerking, just a mild spasm in arm.

Hi @lindagirl you may have noticed I moved your post to the Brain & Nervous System group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/brain-and-nerve-diseases/) so that you can connect with others who have similar experiences.

That is wonderful that he is improving in those areas and that he has such a good attitude during the spasm.

To repeat @becsbuddy's question, what type of CP was your grandson diagnosed with?
