Ovary removal due to cysts and libido

I’ve had both ovaries removed on 2 separate occasions due to ovarian cysts that both ruptured. My Dr. (who wasn’t a gynecologist) was very persistent on performing a complete hysterectomy, which I declined. I’m only 40yrs old & a newly wed so having my libido go from way up to nearly nonexistent is causing major issues in my marriage. Any advice?

Hi, @bethclinton2020 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. If I understand you correctly, you're a newlywed and have seen your libido go way down due to removal of your ovaries due to cysts. Is that accurate?
