Hello @jkor and welcome to Mayo Connect! I see that you are a new member so perhaps you are not aware that Mayo Connect has Members like yourself who share our experiences. We cannot diagnose health problems nor can we interpret test results (like your EKG).

Perhaps you can share, as you are comfortable doing so if you were having any symptoms that led to the EKG. Were you having pain, shortness of breath, etc.? We all understand the anxiety of waiting for test results and appointments.

If you have any life-threatening symptoms you should go to your nearest ER. Otherwise, I would encourage you to find some support for your anxiety. Perhaps have lunch with a friend, see a movie, get involved with a craft or hobby.

I look forward to hearing from you again. Will you provide an update and let me know how you are doing?

I need the EKG for a job I applied to, thats why I had it made.
I feel fine mostly, but sometimes I get shortness of breath, dont know if its related, probably just anxiety. I do have anxiety problems, and while the EKG was made I was really anxious, and some leads kept falling off. Thats why I was asking if it looks normal cause if it doesnt I might not get the job.

I do understand, @jkor. Unfortunately, Mayo Connect cannot help you read the results. I wish you well in your new job!

Hi @jkor,

I thought I'd jump in and mention that Mayo Clinic Connect is a patient-to-patient community – the most important ingredient of Connect is its members, like you. It is not designed to be a community for medical experts to give advice, but is a place to learn from all your shared experiences, insights, suggestions, and tips. On the other hand, you can view Mayo Clinic experts talking about various health conditions, treatments, published studies, etc. by visiting the Connect Pages at https://connect.mayoclinic.org/pages/

I’m tagging @jt5369 @trellg132 @slynnb @afrobin @jadillow @predictable to see if they might have more insight to share. @jkor, after getting the EKG, did the technician or attending physician mention anything?
