I had the Medtronic InterStim implanted in May 2017. It has helped some but not enough. I cannot have MRIs — only X-rays, CAT scans. At the airports, I need to show them the Medtronic card and use the appropriate scanner machine. It creates a little delay but it has never created a serious problem. The procedure was expensive (about $30,000 but the insurance paid for it). If I had to do it again, I would not do it as the relief I received was not worth the trouble or the expense. Others, of course, may have had a better response. I'm now considering botox treatment for the future.

I did decide NOT to have the procedure. Changed meds and having better luck with peeing,, I only worry that later in life, it may get worse. but, I still will NOT have this procedure done. so sorry your surgery did not give you satisfactory results.
