@danab

There is a place in phoenix when i had my transplant my wife took a tour and really liked it but they were so full we ended up staying at a hotel. Luckily my insurance paid for a hotel up to 5000 so we did ok. But the place near Mayo itself i got the impression was cheaper than that. And there are strick rules about using the kitchen and quiet times which my wife actually liked. But depending on the time of the year Phoenix can be expensive. I had my transplant in Jan and we stayed at the hotel until February. Hotels that time of the year can run for a nice one 200 a night. But if its soon summer is pretty cheap and there are some nice hotels right near the property. We like a place called Cambria only a few miles away and it was less than a hundred. In the middle of summer you can find awesome deals for around 70 a night. Good luck

Thank You. The "Healing Home" is $ 50.00 per night (one Room with a 4 unit shared kitchen). It's usually full and I need to stay 6 weeks. I found the Town Place Suites (By Marriott) on Shea Blvd and called directly and spoke with KIM. She was able to give me the "Help in Healing" Mayo rate of $ 90.00 per night (Tax, Internet and full breakfast included). This is a 2 Bedroom unit - One Bath and a full kitchen. I found it very quiet in the past and this will be my fallback. Kim will upgrade you to these units if at all possible and you Must be a MAYO patient.
