Fibrosure test for fibrosis of the liver

Just need to know if this test really does know for sure if you have fibrosis of the liver and stage of it.
I thought liver biopsy was the only way to know for sure. My son still is fatigued ,no appetite, confused! Pain on right side of belly, doesn’t even want to drink liquids.

What are the current plans your doctor has for your son?

He has already done the fibrosure test and has been told he has F1 fibrosis of liver. I thought biopsy was the For Sure way to tell, not blood test! Dr is doing nothing for it! Just keep eye on it! My son has lost 8 lbs because of it and no appetite, high iron in bloodwork and high ammonia! I’m looking for answers! Not keep an Eye on it.
How much weight does he need to lose before dr looks more in depth?
