@jason223- I know that this is a scary time for you and I really wish that I knew more to help you. When something unexpected happens that we think threatens our life, like your initial panic attack, that can be the trigger to make you feel the same way again and again. Panic attacks can feel like you are dying. I've had them too. Medicine alone wont help. You have to be very active to stop the thinking and do things that help this. I need to ask
if you are also having suicidal thoughts? If so I urge you to seek help. I'm not suggesting that your are this upset, but if you need help with this please don't hesitate to make these calls.
You can Call Emergency Services or check yourself into the Emergency Department at your local hospital.
>> If you are in crisis, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline https://988lifeline.org within the USA. You can live chat online at https://988lifeline.org/chat/, available 24 hours each day, 7 days each week.
I do think that there is a way to stop the thought that you are going to die, but I think that you need to reach out to a therapist who deals with anxiety. I am not a therapist, but there are many good ones out there. Perhaps the doctor who put you on your new medication can recommend someone. If you feel that you aren't being helped properly you need to seek other help.
Have your headaches subsided at all?
I would like to tag @thankful, @annedodrill44, @cdcc, @grandmarl, @aliali, @jpearo, and @wittycjt. to help Jason.
