Hi @klaubi and welcome to Connect! It must be frustrating to be unable to find a solution to your back pain.

I wanted to introduce you to fellow connect member @wsh66 as they may be able to offer support for you or other suggestions.

What has your doctor said about the back pain? Have you been able to find a cause?

@klaubi That's a tough one Other things I use for inflammation is Golden Milk or ginger-tumeric tea all are anti inflammatory and this inflammation is what causes pain How long have you had it?

Hello @klaubi
I am very familiar with coscochondritis!! Uhh brings back horrible memories of the most horrific pain I ever thought I would have to endure!!

How long have you had the symptoms?? Have you tried physical therapy? Please discuss the use of a TENS unit with your doctor before attempting it. It is dangerous to do near the heart and since it is your chest wall pain you are trying to releave they may not want you to use it.
Here is some information on your condition and some treatment options. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/costochondritis/symptoms-causes/syc-20371175

Mayo Clinic treated me for my costochondral coscochondritis. After exhausting all (and I mean ALL) treatment options I ended up getting Fluoroscopy guided injections through the sternal manubrium joint to relieve my pain.

Prayers for pain relief!!

That does not sound like any fun!! I was in a car accident and sustained a paired over fracture through my sternal manubrium joint. The doctors said “sternal fractures always heal” well 3 years of horrible pain a swelling, every time I would breath the joint would moved because the lungs would fill and expand the lungs which cause the chest to rise and fall which inturn would cause the fracture to move causing friction and sheering. I developed the costochondral chondritis. As a result I developed a landslide of health issues, chronic pain, insomnia, chronic pneumonia, depression, anxiety just to name a few. I tried a ton of treatments. Finally surgical intervention worked to completely resolve it. Removed my My sternum from my 2, 3, 4, 5th ribs & over 100 bone fragments out of my chest and both breasts. 3 surgeries later & No issues at all today!!

Thankful
