How, when & what did you tell your job about breast cancer? Finances?

My employer did all kinds of improper and illegal things during my cancer times. I am thankful for the many people looking out for me in the HR offices who overhead things and had me complete forms to protect myself. I retired with over 100+ sick leave days and got very good at not being alone with any of the many top executives knowing they followed their own rules. My counselor has worked the last 12 years on the PTSD I've suffered.

Sorry to hear it carlturn........Every day that I think about how unfair and illegal my ex-employer was and how it negatively impacted my ability to deal with my cancer. I'm trying to move on but it takes time not to feel the anger and frustration. I believe in karma....it all comes around and my hope is that my ex boss will someday realize how truly heartless she was and perhaps she'll change. I think PTSD from breast cancer is quite possible without adding the insults of employers and insurance companies who make you fight them as well. Sigh..............
