@Paula_MAC2007, welcome back. I echo @hopeful33250's thank you.
I'm curious to know how your MAC lung condition fared through the cancer treatment. Did a weaken immune system cause any problems? When did AC (after cancer) start for you? After the last treatment? When was that?

Hello Colleen,
I finished chemo 2 years ago - AC (after cancer) began May 1, 2018. The following week, I had CT scans and blood work. Several new nodules appeared in my other lung. My pulmonologist and I decided to wait the 3 months until another scan, to see if the nodules changed - they did. The concern was spread of my cancer to my lungs. I had another lung biopsy; the outcome is that I had gotten a different NTM in my other lung and so I went back on the meds. So yes, my weakened immune system resulted in me picking up a different NTM bacteria! (Better than lung cancer.) I rarely went anyplace while on chemo so I think I picked up the new NTM in the hospital. I'll have more to tell you about this but am needed elsewhere just now.

So great to hear from you!!
Paula
