I also wanted to introduce you to @lioness @wsh66 and @grandmar as they have experience with chronic pain and may be able to provide support as you continue to search for a cause.

@britemiller is they pain solely located in your lower half? With the rectal spasms you mentioned or is the pain in other parts of your body?

@britemiller Thank you @ ethanmcconkey for letting me respond. The rectal spasm you have are they related to hemmoroids?do you think? Hemmoroids are painful and can give you spasms Where is your pain? Do you have back injuries or anything .I have fibromyalgia and back, nerve problems .For me I use simply an ice bag for 15 min then heating pad 15 min hot shower Epsom Salts With chronic pain ,for me medicine didn't help so I use a lot of different things Tens unit and chair exercises. Hope some of this helps ,give it a try.Let us know how your doing.Try prune juice mix with milk of magnesium we gave this a n nursing home. You could try Citrate of Magnesium both OTC

I keep posting becuase I have no idea what is wrong with me. PCP keeps sending me to a different specialist and each one diagnoses something different. Now he is sending me to phys.therapy. The PT man, whom I have not yet met, asked me where I hurt. I told him it seems like my left hip, but not sure. He said it would be helpful if he has more infomation. So next Monday Jn.4 I will ask my PCP for an MRI. I have asked before but he keeps finding a new doctor with a new diagnosis for me. I don't think anyone knows. Here is where I hurt: off and on, but something all the time. High back, Low back, Left hip,
Left front of left knee, Back of left knee, Balls of both feet. Worse when I lie down to sleep. Any ideas? thanks.

Doctors listen to your pain stories and just do not answer or prescribe another med

Hi @maryflorida, I know you have seen a lot of doctors and specialists trying to find some help with your pain. Have you considered or heard about the Mayo Clinic Pain Rehabilitation Center? I'm not sure how far Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is from you but it might be worth checking it out.

John, thank you. John, did they find out why you were in pain? If my doctor doesn't do "something" this week for me, I will get an appointment with Mayo. We live only 25 miles from the clinic and my husband goes there for his checkup after transplant surgery.
