@oregongirl Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that you fell again. It sounds like you should go to your nearest Emergency Room. You may have dislocated your shoulder or broken a bone. It's also possible that you have suffered a concussion. Please call 911. Is there someone you can call to take you to the hospital or to sit with you while you wait for the ambulance.
Don't wait another minute. Please call someone and get help.

Dear @oregongirl,

I know you're going through a painful time; it's horrible to feel frightened and alone, but let's walk through this together.
I want to start by saying Thank You – Thank you for participating in different discussions, offering information and support and encouraging and thanking other members on Connect. if there is one thing I've learned from members like you is that you should never give up until you find the right treatment or the right doctor who can help you in the best possible way.

Health comes first and despite the challenges you're facing @oregongirl, I want you to know that there are many ways to return to being successful and productive while taking care of yourself. You're dealing with a lot pain with this fall, so let's take care of that first; as @johnbishop suggested, is there any way you could go to the Emergency Room, or ask someone to drive you to the ER?

Oh my dear. I understand your situation and feel so badly for you. I am a 10 year lung cancer survivor who never smoked, and was challenged to find proper diagnosis and proper treatment. Post surgery I was blessed with Dr Amit Sood's training that helped me through many physical challenges. I learned how to breath with focus and slow down my pain and fears. I felt that I was at the Brink of Life, but learned there is hope. Dr Sood helps many people and can be found online.

It is most important that each of us take care of our injuries by having them attended too asap. 11 months after lung cancer surgery, I fell and fractured my wrist that required surgery and a titanium plate in my wrist, While in the cast, I fell again on my left knee and had to use a cane to help me walk. But I made it through the challenges. With the paced breathing DVD (that I am happy to share with you...I could sleep at night, breath deep once again, and eventually began running races to prove there is quality of life after cancer...lung cancer and all of life challenges.

My husband and I learned a lot about concussion after he was in a recreational accident one year ago. It is remarkable what the proper diagnosis can do for you and your family. So please take care. Please think about googling Dr Amit Sood and following along with his breathing techniques that anyone can do and I feel confident it will help you better think about your question of "What should I do?"

Let us know how you progress. You can make it through this challenge with help, but you must ask for help. I will be sending you silent blessings. All the best.

First, get yourself checked physically to be sure about breaks, dislocations, or concussions. I would suggest that you find some physical therapy assistance to help deal with balance and stability issues. I had seven months of PT, post operative, and saw many patients having walking and balance issues addressed to help them to not fall, and to quell their fears. Just my observation, and my hope that you are able to resolve these issues.
