AL AMyloidis & ESRD

Posted by devineone @devineone, Sep 2, 2018

Since my husband has been on Hemodialysis for 3 years and now with the diagnosis of AL Amyloidosis they have not been able to pull enough fluid from him as his BP keeps dropping under 90 and they must stop. We have been advised that the best decision is to go on PD Anyone on PD with ALAMY who can give me some of the UPS and downs.. Thank you.

@devineone Please cross post this to the kidney and bladder group, since You'll have more luck finding some answers there. Several people in that group are on dialysis.

@devineone I am not on dialysis, but all I hear about PD is good stuff. I have been told that it is coming to me before long, and my BP occasionally drops into the 90s without dialysis.
