Lioness, I am so sorry to hear that! If you don't mind me asking, what did you have done and why?

@yorlik I had a triple by pass Dr did heart catheterization first tried a ballon first lasted 2months so another catheterization this time open heart my by pass is now 22yrs old you must eat vegetarian no red meat and exercise not strenuous like a 20 yr old Symptoms profuse sweating pain in chest lightheadedness .3arteries clogged 85%,90%,95% so Im blessed to be here. After surgery you do 6 weeks of rehab I was in such good shape Dr let me do this at home as he knew I would listen to him but this is key after surgery you Must listen to Dr.

Wow. Glad you are here too! I am hoping to come back as strong as before... In last few weeks as I wait for surgery I have all 3 symptoms you mentioned. I know when I do just a little too much (like walk up steps too fast or carry a bag of dog food 30 feet - I get dizzy, so know it is needed. I will not become a vegetarian - I love my red meat too much! I also will not give up a drink now and then! Thanks for your comments and hope you the best!

you don't need to become vegetarian give up a drink now and then! My dad had a valve replacement via open heart surgery and is doing great and can do MORE now then he could before

@yorlik its not so much red meat its the fat so just trim it off I drink now and then .Im still here its no heavy lifting you dont want to tear the stitches out so you have to be careful what Dr says is for your on good wishing you the best but it is important to listen to Dr after surgery or you will injure yourself
