@lizzyisme

Since my RTKR in June, I have had a manipulation 6 weeks after my initial surgery due to my knee not flexing, I had little benefit from the manipulation . Now, my knee continues to be swollen, stiff and painful. It’s like I have a spasm that prevents knee to get stuck. My PT has written a letter to my surgeon explaining that despite my compliance and almost 3 months of PT I still am not making improvements in my rehabilitation. I see surgeon day after Labor Day. Any ideas. Comments?

@lizzyisme, you mentioned you were going to see your surgeon the day after Labor Day. If you are comfortable, do you mind sharing what you learned?

Justin I learned going to the doctor yesterday that all my symptoms were normal for the time since surgery. There was nothing wrong with my new knee that time won’t take care of. I was diagnosed with a swollen knee. I have good flexion and my knee is at 0. I go back to PT today and begin to loosen up the knee. I go back to doctor October 2 for my 12 week follow up.
