Neuropathy

I have the numbness but no real pain. Is there anything that helps with the numbness?

@suzylulu, I also have only numbness and no pain with my small fiber peripheral neuropathy. I started taking a group of over the counter supplements after my diagnosis in 2016 and while it hasn't gotten rid of the numbness completely it has stopped the progression and rolled it back a little from just below my knees to just above my ankles. That occurred after the first two months of taking the supplements. I've tried just about every topical there is on the market with no luck. My neurologist told me that it would keep progressing until it affected some autonomic functions so to just let him know if there are any major changes. He also told me there is nothing available that will help with numbness. All of the drugs and medications on the market only address the pain. I honestly don't know if the protocol of supplements will work for everyone but I've had enough success that I'm going to continue taking them.

There are a lot of scams out there so you really have to do your own research before you try anything. I did a lot of reading before I started the supplements. If you would like more information, you can find it on an earlier post where I described my health story and search here:

Hello @materk -- You can find the vitamins and mineral supplements I take listed on the groups website http://solutions2pnpd.com/. I would recommend joining the group and reading through all of the material first. It has helped me and others with PN but it may or may not work for you. If you read my story in the post above it explains how I found the group and how it has helped me.
