Hard and painful lump inside vagina?

Posted by mxstx @mxstx, Apr 27, 2018

Hello, I’ve recently discovered that I have a hard, slightly moveable lump inside of my vagina. It’s about 2.5 inches in and when feeling around it, I can feel where the lump starts and ends. It’s about the size of a small bouncy ball and I can barely get my finger past it. It’s very sore to the touch and causes pain in my pelvic area. I have not had sex, but I have experimented with sexual toys and found it very difficult and painful to go past this area. I’m curious if this sounds harmless, or if it’s something I should get checked out by my OB/GYN. Thanks in advance!

Hi, @stoligirl - wondering how you are doing? As you responded in a discussion about a hard and painful lump inside the vagina, I'm wondering if you also had this experience at some point?

@lisalucier I did not have a hard bump on the inside of my vagina. I did have at the time what was thought to be a boil on the outside at the opening to my vagina. Mine was ACC of the Bartholin gland/Vulvar cancer. I just finished my 33 radiation treatments (3DCRT, external) on Nov 21.

@mxstx

I was wondering if you ever found out what was wrong. Drop a line here please, if you did?
