I have not lived in OK since the late 70s when we were at Ft Sill at Lawton. I remember many small towns. We had to go down into Texas to get eyeglasses. Things have changed a lot.. our last visit there was in 2008. Lawton was much bigger.
What test have you had done? What type of drs have you seen? Is it brown acid? or is it in the form of clear or white mucus? Both will burn, but the brown is worse. Does a liquid antacid.. like Mylanta or Maalox help?
I have been so busy with my mama that I have not looked at Connect very much so am behind on a lot. Still things going on with mama and I will be in and out. I will try and look through your post and see if I have some ideas other than what is posted.

Hi, hope you had a great Christmas.. sorry it has took me so long to get back with you.. But sometimes I get discouraged and stop looking and researching..BUT WE CANT GIVE UP..I’ve had a EGD, showed spasms in larynx and esophagus..a 24 hr ph test was clear.. Chest X-ray good, lung function test showed restricted air way..so they started me on asthma medicine but that made it worse..
I seen new Gastroenterologist he didn’t like the way the test have been done..he’s going to do a EGD with biopsy from throat to stomach.. and esophagus manometry, 24 hr ph impedance test..where they run the monitor up nose and down throat into stomach.. he said that is a better test than the one they put the capsule n the esophagus and you have the monitor you wear around your neck..So I have those test January 6-8...new doctor said there are different kinds of acid..stomach acid, reflux acid or bile.. he wants to know which one it is and if my fundoliption is to tight or maybe moved.. keeping food from going down..
I’m always open for suggestions any information I can get. 😊
