What could be causing my constant feeling of head pressure?
I have a constant feeling of head pressure 24/7 that has lasted for months. The pressure is all over my head except the back. It improves a bit when laying down. I also have dizziness, brain fog, and severe fatigue probably related to this. Brain MRI scans show no issues. Has anyone had this issue, and what was the cause and solution?

@sessma I went to see an ARNP in the Neurosurgeons office. She took all my stuff to the Neurosurgeon and he looked at a CT scan of my head that was from last year. He saw something abnormal in my head that apparently no one else saw. So he asked me to have tests done. I had an MRA and a MRV of the head and neck with and without contrast. So that looked at the veins and arteries. So then I got a call from a nurse and the vascular surgeon looked at my results and the nurse said I had a blockage in my transverse sinus in my head. I always read my reports. The report that was read by a Dr. of radiology said that there was some arachnoid granulations in the transverse sinus. But the vascular surgeon said it was blocked. The Vascular Dr. has me set up for a Lumbar puncture on June 18th. I will see him the last week in June to see what he has to say. He is doing that test to see if I have intracranial hypertension. When and if I get an answer I will let you know. You might try a neurosurgeon to see if they might help you. Starting the month of June makes it sixteen months since I started this process so we will see if I get an answer. I counted the days I had head pressure and it was at least 400 days. I get a reprieve from head pressure then it comes back. If you haven’t seen a Neurosurgeon I would give it a try. You might ask to see a Vascular one. I wish you good luck. If you get an answer please let me know. @rnlorena
@rnlorena I am SO grateful for your reply. The last +18 months have got me feeling pretty hopeless. I pray that you get some answers soon. I will let you know if I get anything figured out as well.

1 ReactionYes, it started 1 week ago. No one seems to care. I have Vertigo. They act like it is no big deal. I have pressure in my head, and sometimes a burning sensation on my scalp and also tenitis. It is terrible. I'm hoping to see my neurologist soon and maybe get some answers.
@sessma Glad to hear from you! I understand because I know also how it feels. I am only in my 16th month. When my lumbar puncture is done and I see the Dr. the last week of this month I will let you know what comes of it. Please stay in touch. I most certainly hope you get answers as well. @rnlorena
