Pain in my left shoulder and sharp stabbing pain in my left chest
Hello, my name is Dashamir, I am over 24 years old and have a pain in my left shoulder and a sharp stabbing pain in my left chest. I have had so many examinations but I still don't have a diagnosis. Sometimes the pain is very severe, sometimes it is moderate. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Please help me.

When you say you do not have a diagnosis, have they run a heart test? Just asking, seeing it is on the left side of the chest.
@roch
He doesn't have a diagnosis.
@roch I am 47 years old and 24 years ago I started having pain. I have had many heart exams and many MRIs for my lungs, cervical spine, etc. but I still don't have a diagnosis and I live with pain. Maybe someone has had the same thing and can help me.
I was walking on the bus and at one point these stabbing pains started in my chest. After a week, my shoulder pain continued, but the origin was stabbing pains in my chest on the left side.
@bajjerfan
Thanks for pointing out my typo. I have asked for it to be corrected.
@roch
I think there might be at best a 2 hour window to edit one's post/s. Outside of that how does one have it corrected, which I would only only do if my boo boo couldn't be understood? If the time frame was longer I would just send someone a message, but not for most typos. Made plenty myself that I caught too late.

If you click the three dots at the bottom of your comment, there is an option to report. If you need to correct your comment, you can request it there. A moderator with edit access can then correct any "boo boo" you made. Just be clear about what needs to be correct.

dashamir, you might try seeing a chiropractor. They will check range of motion on your shoulder joint. It the ball is even slightly out displaced in the joint it can affect your ribs can cause the kind of pain you mention. The will also check the insertion places where ligaments attach the rib to the vertebral joint. I suspect it might be one or the other causing the pain.
Dashamir -
What imaging have you had - X-Rays, CT, MRI??
You might want to see an osteopath instead of a chiropractor; they are trained as M.D.'s but are expert at manual therapy.
Also, if your pain is neurogenic, an acupuncturist could help.
Keep us posted and good luck!
