Hello @nano519 I am sorry to welcome you to the nicest club of people that you never wanted to join.
As you probably know, a pet scan is designed to find any hidden cancer. The questions of course would change according to what it finds. If it finds more cancer in the breast then I might ask what is available to eradicate it.
If they find cancer in other parts of the body then that becomes a more difficult conversation. I might be asking about ongoing treatment plans and quality of life, which are quite frankly better than many of us had ever hoped for.
These are among the toughest times, waiting for the scans, then waiting for the results. Once you get started doing something about it, it feels different than the anxiety of not knowing.
How are you doing with the waiting? Do you have a good support system?
