Good morning @hummelb99, I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. To me it was definitely worth each and every BCG treatment I took over a 3 year period. For those of us diagnosed with high grade bladder cancer (which I was) it's something we must pay attention to for the rest of our lives. To me the 5 year mark means no more cystoscopys for now. But I know with non muscle invasive, high grade bladder cancer I am just as susceptible as anyone in our group to have it come back in an instant. I pray, I pay attention and live my life to the fullest 🙏 I think if you have a good doctor and listen to what he/she suggests, you will be fine. Always remember, you're stronger than you know and loved way more than you know. Good luck with everything and God bless 🙌 🙏 BTW, to answer your question more directly, the only treatments I had was 3 years of BCG treatments and cystoscopy checks for the bladder ❤️‍🩹

@talltxlady
Thank you very much for your reply.
My pathology market showed I would respond better to chemo than BCG, however, after my initial 6 chemo treatments it remains to be seen, if they were effective- of course after the CatScan and cystoscope.
I appreciate your input, it makes me more familiar with the bladder cancer treatment possibilities.
I do have high grade bladder cancer, not yet muscle invasive and hope it won’t change.
Best of luck and I will pray your cancer will not come back ever.
Hugs and good wishes.

@talltxlady Would you be so kind to detail what changes if any you made to your lifestyle during the last 4.5 years in addition to the 3 years of BCG treatments? I know we are all different, however there’s just so much stuff out there telling us moderate alcohol is ok and MD Anderson says zero amount of alcohol is safe for any cancer patient, etc,

Many thanks and you are a beacon of HOPE! TIA
