I have not had issues with my gallbladder in the past, not as far as I know. The pain ranges from a 7 to 10 when the pain waves hit. Currently it is at a 10, and it hurts when I make certain movements, such as standing too fast, turning too fast, or coughing too hard.

You need to be more specific with where the pain is and how food affects you. I had my gallbladder removed the old fashioned way back in '91 and I never had the usual knife-like symptoms. MIne were more vise-like as if I were being squeezed around the whole middle front and back. I also would get severe bouts of diarrhea in the am and would have to rush off the bus to the nearest diner. I also ran low grade fever. Many years before that I would have strange pain during the night and have to get out of the bed and lie on the couch. They would subside within an hour or so. I never pursued the problem and it went away until about 10 years later. Don't food around.
