Pain after hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
I, 45f, have Lynch syndrome and had endometrial hyperplasia. I had a hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. My hemoglobin dropped to below 7 during surgery but no blood transfusion was given. (I'm not sure if this could be related) I am iron anemic normally. Thankfully no cancer was found and I was started on estradiol patches .05, 2 weeks after surgery. That helped the weeping, night sweats and hot flashes I had. However, I then developed heart flutters, face and leg tingling, anxiety and panic, and the worse chest pain/inflammation. I was tested for PE, blood clot, and none was seen at the time, 7 weeks post op, and EKG was good other than new PAC's. My d dimer was .87, which is still higher than the normal .44 for my age. My estradiol patch was lowered to .0375 and the anxiety, panic and tingling has mainly subsided, still occasionally tingling and have heart flutters. The chest pain/ inflammation is still going. I was started on Meloxicam and it has helped a bit. I know breast tissue can hurt when starting HRT but this feels deeper than breast tissue. Has anyone had anything like this after surgery and started HRT? At this point 9 weeks post op, 1.5 weeks on lower dose HRT, I am not even sure if it is the HRT. Could it be an infection or something from the low hemoglobin after surgery? Any advice would help. Thank you!

Have you had your hemoglobin or hematocrit retested? If you are still severely anemic, that could cause some of you symptoms
@laura1970 thank you , yes sorry I should have included that. It was tested at 2 weeks post op. It was at 10, still under the lowest end of the normal range of 12.
