I have a similar experience since Covid shots and infection. It is harder to pay attention, listen, process, etc. and my personality seems flat. I am not my former self at all. It does feel like I am not able to think or feel as deeply as I once was able to. I am now in my mid 50s. Not sure if a combination of Covid, hormone changes, depression, chronic pain (spine/nerve issues), etc. My brain is definitely not the same and feel like my former self was hijacked.

I am not my former self"...i tried telling my supervisor about this issue...naturally she can't truly understand it.I put myself down way too much.That's a part of it,even though most symptoms are virtually gone...this one deal is hanging on...but not too terrible.I can function okay at work.Thank God.
Keep being positive.It's a chore for sure.But it does help.God Bless and take care.
