I too have same symptoms. I lay down to rest about 2-3 hours after taking & things improve. So I have just decided to start it at night.

Welcome @gertrudedallas, Glad to see that you have found Connect. It does help when you can learn what others have found helpful when dealing with PMR. There are also members who have shared that splitting their dosage of prednisone helped them with some of the symptoms. I finished prednisone June 1 after 16 months tapering from 20 mg. but as to when to take it, I always did 3-4 am dose since i was usually up for the bathroom. I found I had no morning stiffness because it kicked in when i slept. Something to try.
