Hypothermia anyone?

No one else I know has had these symptoms. I have ALWAYS run hot. Grew up in SF and never owned a coat- sweaters and windbreakers only-IF I wore them. But my temp was a very standard 98.6 unless I was sick which would first dip by a point or two then rise. Got every childhood illness chickenpox, measles, (no rubella), mumps and occasional colds and Mono with strep in 5th grade.
Starting at the very beginning of the pandemic, I came down with symptoms that I later came to recognize as COVID 19. The major effects I had were high fever, aches, SORE THROAT, and upper respiratory symptoms- nothing notable in the lungs. After 2 months I finally tested and they said it was epstein-barr. This was before they had any accurate COVID 19 testing. Afterward, my temp never went back to normal. I have had 2 vaccines which I thoroughly regret because my 2nd and 3rd cases of COVID 19 lab verified were worse than the first.
At this time, my normal ranges between 97.3 and 96.5 but I am constantly overheating, even at those body temperatures. The scary part is when I start feeling off, getting achy, then chilling. If I think to take my temp, it will be anywhere from 94.5 to 95.3. An immediate warm bath is my solution and a hop into bed to take a little rest. Then my temp goes back to 95.3+ and I feel hot. BTW, I am way past menopausal-69.

@kratzer9 whew ill tell what i am recovering from a crash in energy bigtime. PEM sucks. The fact that i can communicate with someone with the temp dropping symptom too is soooo comforting. Jumping in this support group has been an amazing experience for me. Sending u tons of good energy my friend!! Its so good to know that im not alone in this surreal experience. We are all going to have wonderful fine tuned coping skills by the time they cure us 🙂
