Sorry to hear you are dealing with delays. The entire thing is stressful enough without the stress of a full bladder and empty bowels. I had bladder cancer so that full bladder thing was scary for me. Always worried I would pee on the table. Anyway I had 44 radiation treatments and maybe had to wait 10-15 minutes on two occasions. I received my schedule for the 44 prior to the start, everyday Monday-Friday at 10:15am. I arrived at 9:45 to drink the water slowly and never had an issue. A few times I would have them “skip” me and go the next guy in line if I was unsure my bladder was full. Always very cooperative. And I got to meet some great guys there in the waiting room. All members of a club nobody wants to join☹️. If your radiation staff is always having delays it’s a management issue, someone is screwing up. I can understand a few delays because life just happens, but not on a regular basis. I was fortunate to have a fantastic crew that I got to know really well and just a 1/2 hour from my home. It was the Mass General/Dana Farber radiation center located in Mansfield Massachusetts. Although they were great I hope to never see them again😂. Sure do hope that scheduling improves for you and all others dealing with this prostate nightmare. God Bless You.
