Anyone have stuffy nose and lose ability to smell after oral surgery?

I had all my top teeth pulled and ended up having oral surgery to close a hole that never closed. Ever since then I've had stuffy nose and starting to lose loss of smell. I can't breathe if my nostrils are blocked. Anyone else have this?

If the surgery was on your uppers, the dentist might have nicked the nasal cavity. It's easy to do if he wasn't careful.
