What a shock, I went to bed able to walk (sort of). Got up in the morning and now unable to even stand up. My legs just give out on me. Where to now?? I was lucky in that I purchased a small indoor motorised wheelchair last week. I'll keep putting these legs of mine to the test, but I don't really like my chances. How does one stay positive when things go from bad to worse? @wenner

Hello, @wenner

That's really alarming! Overnight, you say, from the ability to walk ("sort of," as you say) to being "unable to even stand up"?

Your post has left me really shaken. Is there any chance, considering the speed with which this radical change took place (8 hours, or even fewer?), that the cause is actually unrelated to your neuropathy? Is it even possible?

I'm not a doctor or any sort of clinician, but what happened to you has me scratching my head. I'm wondering: "sudden change" + "possibly unrelated to neuropathy" –> might that suggest the possibility of an equally rapid recovery, if only the right test were administered that would identify an undeniable––and reversible––cause?

Keep us posted, @wenner, please!
