Anyone experience sinusitis with pain in bridge of nose?
I was told I have an Ethmoid Mucocele and may need surgery. It was picked up during a CT Scan. Have had trouble with sinuses for the first time after I had a root canal/ crown on second to last upper molar. Frustrating when one feels doctors and dentists deny or don’t believe it’s something else!

corahlee, I believe you. A life long sinus sufferer here. I can get pain in the bridge of my nose from either a
sinus infection or sinus pressure. Bless you.
My top canine tooth were aching a few months ago and I had a lot of sinus pressure in my face. Normally, with a sinus infection or facial pressure all of my top teeth ache, but, this was different. It ached off and on.
The dentist said, nothing was wrong with my tooth. It was all sinus pressure. He explained how the nerves from the teeth are so close to the sinus cavity.
I had sinus surgery years ago. It helped. Sinus surgery has come a long way since I had it in 1994.
Praying for you. Prayers & Blessings.....
Their are small tubs running from cavities through the back of your nose. You probably have buildup in the cavities around your cheek, below your eyes.
@corahlee
I would ask yourself- if this started AFTER a root canal, which is then what prompted a CT scan (which will pick up any and everything), do I really think it is my sinuses or a nerve response from my root canal?
Be very cautious of an ENT whom tries to “chase the pain” from their small box and scope.
Remember you are seeing a surgeon when you see an ENT, most ENTs are not even supposed to run a CT scan unless a patient has tried multiple topical medications of months duration.
Be leary of the ENT whom goes purely off a scan alone as that is highly discouraged in their medical community.
Always get multiple opinions.
And lastly DO NOT allow a surgeons finding to cloud your own intuition.
