Anyone get RSV vaccine while having PMR--any adverse results?

I was diagnosed with PMR July of 2023. Had my first RSV vaccine in December of 2023 with no side effects. I have also been diligent with my flu and Covid boosters every year and so far no issues there.

No problem for me.

Also no issues with RSV, Covid or flu other than sore arm and 24 hr tiredness following all three at the same time. I am diligent with all vaccines. 74 yrs old, PMR for two years this time (2nd flair up) and finally down to 4 mg prednisone, 15 mg MTX and Humira.

I had RSV vaccine with PMR active and on prednisone with no problems. I was about 76 years old when I had the vaccine.

Getting Flu vaccine & rheumy told me not to take methotrexate for two weeks after receiving the flu shot. Apparently it decreases the efficacy of the flu vaccine by 25%. Will get RSV in November hopefully no reaction with either.

I’ve had PMR since 2011 was on KEVZARA when I got the RSV vaccine. I was hesitant but a couple dr’s recommended it. It’s a one and done vaccine the pharmacist said. No Issues. It’s been several months since I had it.
