Sanitizing Nebulizer Equipment
I have a steam oven that has a cookware sanitizing setting. I'm wondering if I can use that to sanitize my nebulizer equipment. Does anyone use steam to sanitize?

I'm pretty sure she's talking about the same little plastic vials we use for nebs with our 7% or albuterol, but she's using .9 (normal).
I notice alot of people comment and get the Bololo baby bottle sterilizer. I’m sure they use them to sterilize their nebulizer, but then nearly every says they let it air dry!! Why wouldn’t you use the drying function on the sterilizer to dry the nebulizers also.
@spider109 I leave mine in the Bololo and don't handle until I need them again. They are usually dry at end of the auto cycle and if not, I use the dry cycle for 20 min. It's the easy dealing with it once that I like!

1 ReactionI have a feeling that this has been addressed before but I do need help. I am finding when I use my Dr. Brown sterilizer the cap for the nebulizer cup gets distorted and no longer shuts tight. Is there a trick to keeping it from getting distorted?
@desertdwellerjh - can you share what cup you are using. There are both disposable and reusable cups. Disposable cups can usually be used for up to two weeks and then tossed. Those typically can’t be sterilized. The medical supply company my insurance works with was only providing disposable cups so I just starting buying the Pari cups on my own and have had no issues with melting.
