MCL and swelling of leg

Hi. Has anyone with MCL had one leg swollen/lumps formed? I am currently taking brukinsa and getting Gazyva IV every 3 weeks. About a month ago i noticed small lumps only in left leg and leg getting swollen. Saw Doctor today and has ordered me a sonogram on my leg. Possible lymph nodes are pressing on area that controls lymphatic drainage into leg. Was there anything you could do while waiting for answers to help? Thanks...

@mclny. Welcome to Mayo Connect. It was a good thing to get your leg checked after finding the small lumps and increasing swelling. Always have to be on the lookout of potential issues like blood clots or lymph nodes. I’ve had experiences with similar and if the swelling is due to blockage, often this can be relieved with a visit to a licensed massage therapist. Preferably one who has special certification in lymphatic drainage. But only after your sonogram and checking with your doctor.

While waiting for others with MCL to answer your question regarding their experiences, I thought I’d give you a link to a current discussion in the group to get you introduced.

Had sonogram. Blood flowing through arteries good so thats a plus. Will be seeing doctor on Monday to discuss. Also getting CT scan tomorrow so hope to have answers on Monday. Thanks for checking in. 😊
