@autnchris I would suggest that you get X-rays, blood work to check for an infection, Cobalt & Chroumin levels! Insist on these test & X-rays! My wife’s primary orthopedic surgeon declined to do these test so I asked her primary to have these test preformed and found toxic levels and a loose component with a staph infection as well! Hopefully this is not your situation but only you can be a strong advocate for yourself! My wife’s was 11 years after her initial total bilateral. Today she claims no hip pain at all but her lower back is a constant problem. I often wonder if some of this is caused by the epidurals she has received over the years having had a total of 6 hip surgeries; they call it degenerative disc disease, do they know this 100%, I don’t think so or maybe they do but will not say because it might sway people away from hip surgery if they knew that it could impact one’s mobility all together!
