Has anyone experienced problems with their balance or dizziness when taking bisphosphonates? Thank you.

leslie1234, these side effects, as well as vertigo, are noted in the clinical trials. The effect is (said to be) more pronounced with the IV bisphosphonates. Your body may adjust over time. I've no experience.

I was on 2 of them along with lenalidomide which caused osteo necrosis of the jaw (ONJ). Had to have surgery on my lower left jaw.

@gently Yes I do notice slight imbalance but that can be related to simple aging as well.

@jrenjr so sorry to hear it. Did the necrosis appear after major dental work?

@pcretella No. It appeared a year after being diagnosed with multi-myeloma.

I take it with no side effects, however, I have to take small breaks because I get Acid reflux after taking it for about 6 months. Will only take it for a couple of years.
