I have ulcerative colitis so already get colonoscopies every year. I had a colonoscopy in January 2018 and all was “normal”. I waited until April 2019 for the next one, and when I did the bowel prep, I knew something was wrong because nothing was coming out. They attempted the scope the next morning, and found an obstructing tumor. The GI knee I was cancerous by what it looked like. They did a biopsy but weren’t able to get a big enough sample. CT Scans revealed a mass. I had surgery and they removed a 13 cm tumor from y sigmoid. It was adenocarcinoma. I am still NED

@lisag03 I’m so glad to hear you are NED! And I’m glad you were consistent with your screenings. I pray you continue to stay NED!
