Mindy there are no cures - yet- but there are vitamins and supplements that may be beneficial for Copd as well as in general. My pulmonologist has had me on NAC for years now. 2 600 mg caps per day, along with my meds. Roflumilast 500 mcg and Trelegy.

Exercise, Mediterranean diets, look into clinical trials. If you are where near Philadelphia Temple Hospital - lung division has the premiere authority in the US for Copd, Dr. Gerard Criner and they do trials and host yearly the Gold Standard for Copd. I’ll find the link for that and post it.

@ktf have you had any lung infections due to the NAC? I've read it makes some bacteria resistant to antibiotics.

@ktf How has the vitamin benefited you? I've heard good things about NAC
