I filled out the initial application for care, received a response that said they were looking it over. Then after a week or so I received more forms to complete (very long forms with questions about my symptoms and what I’ve done about them. Also about when and where I have had any medical care. After quite a number of weeks I received an acceptance form and a date to do an online visit with the initial intake nurse. She gave me a choice of dates to come to Mayo. That’s how the process was for me. I do know that they have gotten incredibly busy so don’t give up hope yet. Have you tried to call them?

I have been working with the Cleveland Long Covid Recovery Clinic. I was prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone and have been much better since February 2025. The paperwork and insurance verification was cumbersome but once you are assigned a provider, I have been impressed with the care. I work with them virtually. It took about 3 months after a referral from my Primary Doctor to have my first appointment.
