If they hit the rectum during radiation diarrhea and not being able to hold it is a side effect. I dealt with it for a month or so and 6 months later I still have to honor the I might have to go feeling. Imodium is my friend whenever I go out for meals. I've surrendered to the fact that this might be my new me.

Thank you, and sorry for your common struggle! I tried one Probiotic for a month. It seemed to work wonders for a few days and no help afterward. I'm trying another recommendation while keeping Imodium and bathrooms handy. My radiation oncologist assured me that the SpaceOAR would be intact to protect throughout, but it was a few days past its supposed expiration by the time I completed treatment.
