Have pain that starts in my right testicle and shoots up into my abdom

Posted by amu45sin @amu45sin, Jul 8 11:15am

Has anyone out there had pain in their testicle that shoots up into their abdomen? Happens many times per day.
This has been going on for 3 + years, and I have had 3 procedures, from 3 different doctors, but no relief.
Thanks very much for your
responses.

This sounds so painful and uncomfortable and must be difficult to deal with for so long.

What procedures have you had? Did you have only testing or actual treatments/surgeries (if so, which ones)? Are you on any medications that affect nerves? Do you think you have nerve damage?

You may want to see a neurologist and spine specialist to see if you have neuropathy or spinal cord/nerve root/nerve compression in your lumbar spine/pelvis/hips which is radiating nerve pain from testicles to abdomen.

Will ask my urologist about this, as your response sounds important.

Hi, RN here, just curious because I know that you said you've seen multiple docs; have you seen a urologist? Have they checked for hernia, kidney stone, infection... just thinking...

@mrsr1234 you may have heard of this @amu45sin have you had back surgery. After my L5-S1 fusion I could rub my fusion area and the pain goes straight to the bottom of my testicle , without getting me out of the wheelchair the surgeon says no you don’t have that! My testicle disagrees with the idiot!

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, had all of those, from 6 doctors.
Am going in to a urology surgeon to have surgery on the testicle to remove nerves and veins in a week.

You may want to ask for a MRI of your lumbar spine and pelvis/hips to look at spine and joints/soft tissues to see if you have trapped nerves and/or inflammation.

You might be experiencing early hernia symptoms? When we are born our testes drop from our abdomens down the inguinal canal into our scrotum. Your symptoms sounds familiar to mine in the past.
