If you have dCis and are having a lumpectomy you will be good to go by Sept 7th. My friends 88 year old mum had a lumpectomy and was up and about the next day and taking her usual walks in a week. I do believe from diagnosis you can have up to 90 days before you do surgery if it's Dcis but I would speak to your surgeon.. since you are seeing them in 3 weeks that's about August . Your trip is September and it does take some time for them to put you on schedule anyway so it may be about September or October before you get your actual surgery date.
