Dear "SISTER" : I did a correction to my initial reply. I also mentioned that both Lyrica and Klonopin have been used with some success.

For CHRONIC PAIN, SOME SUCCESS IS BEING FOUND IN VERY RECENT YEARS WITH KETAMINE INJECTIONS. I'M NOT SURE IF A PILL IS AVAILABLE. KETAMINE AS USED WITH VETS PRIOR TO THIS.

I have been on ketamine once, two infusions. It was terrific. But no one can tell me how often I can use it, or under what circumstances. I left the hospital pain-free, and was pain-free until a week later, when I caught pneumonia, Influenza A, and asthma, I caught the first two illnesses in the hospital, lol.. The aggravated asthma was a side effect. I was vaccinated for both, but I got sick anyway. Who knows how long the ketamine would have worked, had I not been sick for a month. I would love to try ketamine again.

Allow me to quote you, @ujeeniack:
"i see nothing to indicate that you have seen even one neurologist or had tests done. If you read the Mayo Clinic or Webmd you will find that gabapentin is NOT for RL syndrome."

I saw your 'correction'. You didn't even mention you were referring to RLS.

It was the "I see nothing to indicate that you have seen even one neurologist or had tests done" for which you owe @flor an apology.

It's very difficult for some people to share personal stuff like this, and it's so easy to scare people off with statements like that. You could have been nicer about your response to @flor and more specific about your correction. You knew how to dish it out, but got your feathers ruffled easily enough when you got called on it. It doesn't cost anything to be nice, especially to someone who is sharing this kind of content.

That's all I have to say on this subject. Someone had to stand up for @flor. Beyond that, It's distracting the rest of the group from what this site is about,

I hope everyone sleeps peacefully and pain-free. Goodnight all.

NITE!

Amen! @sistergoldenhair. Perfect response to a hurtful, curt remark. Thank you!

To @lauriedr, if you do try ketamine again with good results, please share.

Thanks

Thank you very much

@ujeeniac, Please don't put your messages in all caps. If you are quoting something, use " " marks to indicate. Please tell us more about your situation and about you so we can get to know you. All the previous posts are easy to review on this site. Perhaps it would help if you review them so you understand how we "talk" to each other, and the information that has been shared already. I have found this very helpful for my own understanding.

As a little feedback, your posts sometimes seem abrupt and like you are being intrusive rather than suggestive and helpful. I want to hear what you have to offer so it will be helpful if I "know" you better. Thanks for hearing my input. Gail B

Thanks. I forgot to mention recently that in addition to 600 mg Gabapentin I take Vit. B complex, so I get the B1,B6 and B12 that way.

It also comes as a combination with Choline.. Choline is part of the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine.
