Some doctors and pharmacists know, some don't. From what I have learned from in-depth online research and from reading "The Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines: Antidepressants, Benzodiazepines, Gabapentinoids and Z-drugs," one can taper too quickly but not too slowly. The slower you go, the more likely you are to succeed. If you feel withdrawal effects, then you know to take a step back. Two steps forward and one step back will still get you to the finish line. Best wishes.

Recommended withdrawal from prozac is 25% 1/4 dose reduction per week. Some doctors prefer a 6 week withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms are said to be completed 7 days from the last dose.
You may want a slower withdrawal rate. 1% 1/10th per week might make be an easier transition.
Fluoxetine liquid comes in a concentation of 20mg fluoxetine in 5mL of liquid, (check your bottle to be sure) meaning there is 4mg of fluoxetine in 1mL. If you are taking 10mg Prozac now, the liquid equivalent would 2.5mL. If you want to take 9mg of Prozac, you would take 2.25mL of the liquid
1 mL= 4mg
0.5mL = 2mg
0.25mL = 1mg
0.2ml = 0.8mg
With the only warning that raising two small children can cause loss of memory and loss of self. It's temporary until they are about ten years old.
Best wishes
