How do you treat adult-onset scoliosis caused by muscle imbalance as a result of arthritis/degenerative discs?

REPLY

I did not hear anything about treatment for Abdul’s with worsening scoliosis. I was hoping to get info on the measures after PT.....especially on minimally invasive surgery. Info like what the recovery is like in terms of time and limitations.

I was very disappointed in the NeuroChat as the discussion focused mainly in children and families. I expected get current information about treatment for adult onset scoliosis. Waste of time.

I think the information given by Dr. McClendon was very helpful for young & adult. I am interested in finding out more on the connective tissue involvement and muscle inbalance that he mentioned. Are there any articles available to read on these topics? Thanks.
