Hi @mina83 and welcome! Just to note, Mayo Clinic Connect is a patient-to-patient community – the most important ingredient of Connect is its members, like you. It is not designed to be a community for medical experts to give advice, but is a place to learn from all your shared experiences, insights, suggestions, and tips. If you'd like to learn more about Connect, the "About Connect: Who, What & Why" Page, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/about-connect/ has some great information.

On the other hand, you can view Mayo Clinic experts talking about various health conditions, treatments, published studies, etc. by visiting the Connect Pages at https://connect.mayoclinic.org/pages/

Can you share with me a little more about your concern? What medication is it that you are taking? Depending on the medication, for example: a testosterone replacement therapy, it can actually deplete or lower sperm count.

What is a varicocele and should I worry about it?: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/221051

My hobby at age 85 is studying health issues, but you certainly stumped me now! I know that my son had a low sperm count and it was suspected that it was from chewing tobacco. He quit several times but I don't know if that was permanent. My son told me there are few fertility specialists and they consult with each other, so you don't always need to travel to a certain doctor for advice. The doctor in Indianapolis who gave a $25,000 shot to the patient who had six children, might have the information you are seeking, if he is still practicing. He was a friend of of my aunt's doctor son, but I do not know his name. My aunt said that this one procedure was the only thing the doctor did to produce the six births. That was years ago. That is the only tip I have ever read. Dorisena
